Sunday, March 6th was a special day for the Maitland River Community Church. We were excited to be able to seat everyone, as COVID seating restrictions have lifted and we welcomed our new Pastor, Bart Eisen. The band led us in some songs of celebration and salvation.  Pastor Henry Meinen from Bethel CRC in Listowel, led us through the Ordination, and Stephen, Cathy, Brenda and Doug also participated in the readings.  Special friends and family attended the service. Kevin Nethercott and Daniel Moes shared some words of congratulations and encouragement, and Pastor Ralph Wigboldus sent a video message.  We are indeed thankful to God for faithfully leading Pastor Bart to our congregation.

Tobi Droppert provided a delicious catered lunch for everyone, excellent croissants and sandwiches, with lovely tasty desserts.  It was very special to eat together as we haven’t been able to do so for two years.
