We were excited to have our first Children’s Ministry Service on May 28th.  Brenda Stein had worked hard to prepare several children to participate.  Alexa did the Call to Worship, and the band led us in songs of praise.  Olivia and Landon came forward to  lead the actions for “He’s Real, He’s Got All the Power You Need!”  Yolanda and Brent shared what is like to be small group leaders in the children’s ministry. Both of them agree it was a great experience, and that the children add a lot of joy to the job.  Matthew, Amber and Aaron led us in the Prayers of the People.

Brenda Stein also gave a wonderful message, starting with a poem based on Daniel 3, the three friends in the fire.  She taught us about being God’s courageous, humble and obedient servants.  Katherine, Dexter, Monique,  Micah, Doug and Jaela helped out by reading the scriptures throughout the sermon.

At the end of the service, all the children came forward to do the actions to “He’s Real!”, which was a lot of fun!
