Membership Meeting
We had a good turnout for the our spring membership meeting. Pastor Bart welcomed everyone and gave a short devotional to start our meeting.
We had a series of financial reports – Brent presented the 2025 financial statements, Matt presented the special offerings for 2025, and Bill reported on the 2025 Audit of the church books.
We also were privileged to vote in a new board. The nominees were introduced, and when ballots were counted, Jan Blackwell, Doug Kuyvenhoven, Murray Ritsema, Stephen VanderKlippe and Matt Wilkins were elected as new board members.
Betty had coffee and cake ready for us during break, so we enjoyed refreshments and some fellowship.
After break we heard reports from all of the Ministry Directors. There were amazing reports of spiritual growth, growing in belonging and community, faithful volunteers, and the Holy Spirit doing a great work among our children, youth and adults.
Nicole – Children’s Ministry, Josh – Cadets, and Lindsay – GEMS each shared about their programs, how kids are growing in Christ, and having fun doing it!
Luke and Tom talked about Men’s Life, their inductive Bible study time and the fellowship that they share together.
Kim from Women for Women, and Jan from CoffeeBreak gave encouraging reports of lots of women who are finding real community in these groups, and are learning and growing spiritually. Wanda gave us an update on the Stephen Ministries.
Tyler was excited about youth this year – many new youth coming, and some hearing about the good news for the first time! Stephen and Doug both reported on the work of the elders and deacons respectively.
We are grateful to God for His work among us. New people continue to come to the ministry programs or to Sunday services. We are thankful that so many children, youth and adults have heard about God’s great love for them!
