Cub Car Night!
Every year the Cadet boys’ club is excited for their cub car racing event!
Each boy is given a block of wood and a set of wheels, and they are to design and paint a car. It must be under a certain weight.
The cars are numbered and this year’s judges were Doug, Tyler and Conner. Cars are judged on sanding work, accuracy of construction, tidy painting and overall design.
Then it is time for the race! Dads and boys line the track to catch all the action! Times are registered on the computer, each car has two runs, and the fastest wins!
It is such a fun night, and a great wrap-up to the Cadet season. Thank you to Ron and all his leaders for their faithful service leading the boys!
