Our first EIGHT TO LATE event took place on March 30th, and it was an absolute delight. The day began at 8 o’clock in the morning with a yummy pancake buffet, setting the tone for an exciting day ahead. A group of 23 participants boarded the vehicles as we embarked on our journey to Sky Zone in Kitchener. We spent a thrilling hour and a half jumping and playing games. 

After working up quite the appetite, we made our way to Conestoga Mall, where everyone could choose their lunch and indulge in some retail therapy. Interestingly, one of our own youth leaders emerged as the biggest spender, surprising us all. Following our shopping excursion, we gathered at Tyler and Inge’s house for a delicious supper and quality social time.

As if the day wasn’t already action-packed, we headed to Between the Lines to engage in a friendly game of bubble soccer. However, the game transformed into a round of regular soccer, adding an extra element of excitement to the evening.

It was a busy but truly wonderful day, filled with laughter, fellowship and memorable experiences. We all slept soundly that night, slightly sore from the exhilarating activities. The following morning served as a reminder of the tremendous exercise we had undertaken, but the slight discomfort was well worth the day we had shared.
