The rain held off and we were able to go ahead with our 2018 free carwash and BBQ! Faithful volunteers turned out to spray, wash, rinse and dry the cars. We had a bit of excitement when one of the pressure washers burst into flames!  But the fire was soon put out, and the pressure washer fixed up and ready for action again.  At noon, the hamburgers and hotdogs were ready, and lunch was served.  No leftovers – lots of people fed.  It was a good day, a great way to show God’s love to Wingham!
