Sunday, October 20th was a special day for Tyler Kirkbride.  Tyler and Inge are our Youth Ministry Directors, and on this day Tyler was ordained as a Commissioned Pastor in our church.  Peter and the band led us in opening songs of praise and worship.  Then Pastor Bart read the commissioning litany for Tyler, and the charges to him and to the congregation.  We promised to support and pray for Tyler.  There was a special time of prayer for Tyler, as the youth and youth leaders, board and all of us extended our hands to pray over him.  Tyler is excited and thankful for the youth he is serving, for this church, and for this opportunity the Lord has given him.  We wish him God’s richest blessings as he begins this new chapter in his ministry.

Pastor Bart began a new sermon series entitled “Relationships Under Christ”.  And to close our service, Pastor Tyler Kirkbride gave our parting blessing.  Everyone enjoyed cake and fellowship to celebrate this joyful day.
