The GEMS girls’ club led us in worship on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning.  They had lively songs of praise and signed the song Jesus Loves Me.  Several of the girls shared what they loved about GEMS and some of their favourite times during the season.  They had an active year of badge work, devotions and learning, fun craft activities and  special event evenings.

Karen taught us about the story of Esther, while several girls acted it out.  GEMS gave the offering announcement, and then there was a special tribute of thanks and flowers for Karen Rylaarsdam, as she is stepping down as GEMS ministry leader.  We thank her for all her work through the years, and the great love and care she has shown to the girls and to her leaders.
