It was an overcast, rainy Saturday morning, but about 40 volunteers showed up, ready to serve.  After coffee and muffins, everyone was divided into three teams.  Armed with raincoats, ponchos, rubber boots, rakes, tarps and gloves, the teams set out for their designated lawns.  Over 20 lawns were cleared, and then everyone gathered for pizza and pop to wrap up the morning.  A job well done, serving our community in love, in the name of Jesus. Thank you to Karen and Leo for organizing the lawn lists, and for Betty serving in the kitchen, and to all our willing workers.
