A busy Sunday for us on January 19th!   We prayed for the Shelter Canada group, as they leave this week for El Salvador to build 13 homes for those in need.  The band performed a drama, to show us all the variety of gifts needed in the body of Christ.  It was a good introduction to Pastor Henry’s sermon, as he continued our series on Spiritual Gifts.  Al and Elizabeth Grant were interviewed about Alpha, as a new course is about to begin in one month’s time.  They had lots of positive things to say about Alpha.  And we surprised Pastor Henry with the special recognition of his 30 years in ministry.  We are thankful for the blessing he has been to our MRCC family and wish him God’s blessing as he continues his work. There was delicious cake served in the fellowship time, to celebrate the occasion.
