We gathered on a snowy April morning to worship together at The River. The worship band led us in songs to celebrate God’s great love for us. We had a special time of prayer as Alissa prayed for crops and agriculture needs, Brenda prayed for business and industry needs, and Shirley prayed for social needs. Pastor Henry continued his teaching on Authentic Living, with a message about authentic community. Then we had the commissioning of our new Board members.  Karen Bridges, Jack Wilkins and Stephen Vanderklippe are our new elders, and Doug Kuyvenhoven and Ron Haanstra are the new deacons.  Thank you to Murray Ritsema who has stepped down after serving for five years on the board.
