We gathered together to celebrate our Thanksgiving service.  The usher handed out ribbons and markers and instructed everyone to write on their ribbon things for which they were thankful.  The band led us in songs of joyful thanks and praise.  Many people shared items of thanks, and then everyone came forward to weave their ribbons into looms. Pastor Bart taught us that living with gratitude brings a perspective of joy and peace to our lives.  Our cups of thankfulness overflow with joy, and spread to others.  We are grateful to God for our church and church family, here at the Maitland River Community Church.
