Sunday Celebrations
So much to celebrate in this Sunday service! After Pastor Bart welcomed everyone, the youth band led us in opening the service with the joyful sound of praises.
Briella, Alexa, Nathan, Landon, Charis, Alaina, Shane and Micah each did a great job as they used their gifts to serve their church family.
Charis and Alexa spoke the words of confession, and assurance.
Shane shared with us his journey to faith, how God had really helped him with the language barrier and how he found friends and community with the youth and the church.
Tyler led him in his Profession of Faith, and we heard what Jesus means to Shane.
Pastor Bart assisted as Shane was baptized.

As the service continued, we spent some time recognizing our graduating youth.
Briella, Alaina, Charis, Timothy, Cameron and Logan are moving on to post-secondary education this September. Tobi and Pastor Tyler had words of thanks and encouragement for each of these special youth. These youth have been great assets to the youth program, and they will be missed.
Each one was given a scripture verse and a devotional.
After the presentations, family, friends, and board members gathered to pray over them.
Pastor Bart continued his teaching from 1John, under the series “Living a Life of Love and Light”.
Following the service, everyone enjoyed cake and fellowship in the auditorium.
Throughout the service, we could see evidence of God’s grace and goodness, working through our Youth and their leaders. We praise God for his faithfulness!
