GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. For nearly seventy years, God has used GEMS to help girls discover the life-changing love of Jesus. Today’s girls are navigating a world filled with confusion, pressure, anxiety, and countless competing voices telling them who they should be and where they should find the truth. Many girls look to culture, social media, achievements, or friendships for direction and identity, but those things were never meant to guide their hearts.
That’s why this year’s theme, Wayfinder, is so important. In John 14:6, Jesus says: “I am the way and the truth and the life. . . ” Throughout this season, girls will discover that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life. No matter what girls face, they can trust that Jesus knows the way forward and walks with them every step of the journey. Our GEMS Club is designed to welcome every girl—whether she knows many Bible stories already or is hearing about Jesus for the very first time. Every girl belongs here. Through the Wayfinder curriculum, girls will explore God’s story throughout Scripture and learn how Jesus meets us in every circumstance. They will discover how God’s truth gives direction for real life and how following Jesus shapes the way we live, love, serve, and lead others. We are praying this season helps girls:
