Cadet Sunday
The boys were happy to participate in our Cadet Sunday service. They gathered in the fellowship hall, ready to enter the auditorium.
The Cadets filed onto the stage and recited their code, verse, pledge and motto. They led the congregation in a litany, and we sang their theme song “Living For Jesus”.
Ron introduced the offering for Cadets and then Jacob and Sam shared about their experiences at Cadets. The boys enjoyed events like the Snow Derby, Cadet-o-rama, camping, building their tool boxes and doing badge work. They were happy to report that they placed 1st overall in the Cadet-o-rama.
Pastor Bart preached on the theme “Stand Firm” and the band led us in songs of praise.
Thank you to Ron and his team of counsellors for their efforts this year. Building meaningful relationships with the boys, through activities and time learning together, is a great work for the kingdom!
