Maitland River Community Church embraces and communicates the teachings of the historic, Christian faith. The Bible is what we believe to be the unique, full and final authority on all matters of faith and life.
About God
We believe that there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.
About Salvation
Salvation is God’s gift of grace to humankind. He gives this grace freely – not because people have earned it. Salvation (life now and forever) is obtained by willingly receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ, the Son of God the Father, was sent to the world to become our substitute in receiving God’s judgment on our sin. He alone paid the debt of our sin; there is no other Savior. He has promised to return to this world, personally and visibly, to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.
Maitland River Community Church is a member of the Christian Reformed Church of North America.
Biblical Standard
The beliefs and doctrine of the CRC are based on the Holy Bible, God’s infallible written Word contained in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
