September brings new beginnings, and the MRCC is gearing up for a new season of ministry and programs. We were happy to welcome Pastor Bart back after his holidays, and he was happy to be back too!
Peter and the band began our time together with songs of praise. Then Emma came forward with Jacob and Amber. They led us in prayers for students, teachers, administrators, and all those heading back to school.
They all came forward to receive a special blessing on the year ahead, and a fun backpack tag to remind them God is always with them.
Marc shared with us about Madill 5-1-5, a group at F.E.Madill that meets weekly to share pizza, and the Good News of Jesus. We collected an offering for them.
Pastor Bart brought us God’s word from the book of Mark. We don’t want to be an “off the grid church”. We want to be plugged in to the power of the Holy Spirit.
