Celebrating 20 Years of MRCC!
There was excitement in the air as we gathered together to celebrate 20 years of ministry at the MRCC! Pastor Bart welcomed everyone and Maria and the band led us in opening songs of praise and thanksgiving.
We were blessed to hear three testimonies from our members – stories of God’s goodness, grace, faithfulness – and lives changed!
Thank you to Kim, Carey and Jack for sharing your amazing God-stories. Previous pastors, Peter Janssens and Henry Steenbergen sent along videos of congratulations. Stephen led us in a thanksgiving prayer for all God’s provisions, faithfulness, guidance and goodness in these 20 years.
Pastor Bart preached on a Hebrews passage, A Legacy of Faith. We closed the service with Build Your Kingdom Here, raising the roof with one of our favourite songs!
And then the balloons came down!
Then it was outdoors for food and fellowship on The Green. We all enjoyed Holy Smokes BBQ, as people gathered in the perfect weather.
Tyler, Tobi and Shein worked hard in the food truck.
We celebrated with full and grateful hearts, and we look forward to what God will do in the next 20 years!
