Annual Outdoor Service
After the very hot temperatures of the week, the weather had cooled some and was just right for our annual outdoor service in the park.
A good crowd gathered in the shade, and Pastor Bart welcomed everyone.
Tom, Jeff, Deb and Peter led us in opening songs of worship and praise.
Jan gave a prayer, praising God for the gift of His creation.
Pastor Bart continued his sermon series from I John. “How great is the love of the Father, that we should be called children of God, and that is what we are!”
Afterward the service, we enjoyed a BBQ lunch. Albert, Betty, Josh, Jack, Brent and Landon helped out with the purchasing and preparing of the food.
What a privilege to gather freely to worship in God’s wonderful creation! And to enjoy food and fellowship together!
