Sunday at the River
As we started a new month, it was a busy Sunday at the River. Pastor Bart welcomed us all on this second Sunday of Lent. Jeff and the band led us in songs of worship and praise.

We were all thankful to celebrate Lillie’s baptism, especially considering what she has been through already! Pastor Tyler was privileged to perform the baptism.

Conor spoke a few words of thanks to the congregation, and then we gathered around this special family to pray for them.

Pastor Bart continued teaching on his Lent series, Jesus – Rejected Redeemer.

After the sermon, we welcomed to the stage all those who went to El Salvador with Shelter Canada.

The three teams included MRCC people, and several from other communities. The three weeks of teams were able to build 54 homes for families in El Salvador. Tracy, William, and Logan shared about their experiences, speaking of how blessed they were by serving these families and seeing them so happy with their new homes.
It was really a service to celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness!
