VBS and Baptism Sunday
After an amazing week of VBS, we were excited to hear all about it.
Nicole told us that over 70 children came every day, and enjoyed songs, crafts, games, science activities and of course the Bible story.
The kids shared with us one of their favourite songs, with actions and smiles! We certainly appreciated all the work done by the leadership team, Alyssa, Cassy, Jessica and Nicole.
Then it was time for Ethan and Jessica, and their children Arlo and Claireese to experience something special.
Ethan and Jessica both did their Profession of Faith, sharing what Jesus means to them, and why they want to become members of the MRCC.
Arlo and Claireese were baptized by Pastor Bart. A special moment for them to remember!
And then Ethan was also baptized. Pastor Bart and Matt had the honour of assisting.
A baptism is always a great celebration of thanksgiving to God for his faithfulness and grace.
