GEMS in the Parade!
The GEMS girls are always excited to have a float in the Wingham Santa Claus parade, and this year was no exception!
With the theme of gingerbread in the bakery, and shining for Jesus, the Wednesday morning coffee break ladies group set to work, designing and cutting.
Tania whipped up 700 bags of cotton candy to be handed out with invitation cards to our Christmas Eve service.
Josh drove the truck, the GEMS waved to the crowd, and the counsellors handed out the treats and cards. It was great weather for a parade!
The float looked fantastic! What a joy to be part of the community in this way, and shine your light brightly for Jesus! Thank you to all the makers and GEMS for participating.
